Meet the owner
I'm Timothy, the owner of Fro's Landscape and Construction. I've been doing this work since 2016, and I still love it. Every lawn, garden bed and staircase gets the same care I'd want at my own home.
We started out in Coventry, RI and now call Norwich, CT home.
I'm proud of clean stripes, sharp edges and work that's built right, and I'll tell you honestly what your project needs. Call or text me for a free estimate.

Great service!
Timothy and his crew renovated the whole basement. They were very respectful and kept everything clean and got the job done ahead of schedule. We will keep using their services.
Very professional they kept my yard looking great.
Called Fro's landscaping and he came by in a timely manner to give me a free estimate and discuss what needed to be done. After agreeing on a more than reasonable price, he stayed in communication and was here when he said he would be. During the job, they were very respectful of our property and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend this company.
Good to know
Quick answers on lawn care, mulch and estimates. Our full FAQ page has 28 answers on lawn care, landscaping, cleanups and construction.
UConn Extension recommends mowing cool-season lawns at about 2 to 3 inches. Taller grass shades the soil, which helps crowd out weeds such as crabgrass. Follow the one-third rule: never cut off more than a third of the blade height in one mowing, and keep mower blades sharp. See our lawn care and mowing page.
UConn suggests fertilizing cool-season lawns from September through mid-October, and getting it down by October 15. Follow the bag or, better, a soil test, which usually works out to about 1 pound of nitrogen per 1,000 square feet per application. Fertilizer applied after mid-October may not be used before growth slows and can wash away.
The best window is August 15 to September 15, when warm soil and cooler air help seed sprout quickly and the new grass gets a fall and a spring to grow before summer heat. Keep the seeded area evenly moist until the grass is well started; germination takes about three weeks. Late winter or early spring is a harder second choice.
UConn’s Home & Garden Education Center says to keep mulch to no more than 1 to 3 inches thick; around trees and shrubs 2 to 3 inches is the usual guideline. Too much mulch can hold water against stems, starve roots of oxygen and shelter rodents. If a bed already has a thick layer, rake it level instead of piling on more. Our garden bed and mulch page has more.
